At some point, the kind of wedding you would like has been discussed and budgeted & the venue all booked for your Special Day. Now is the time you can let your friends and family know the date.
If you have chosen a destination wedding or a high seasonal holiday such as Easter breaks, Christmas/New Year Holidays or through the summer months when people pre-book their annual holidays, sending a Save the Date card is highly recommended, the earlier the better, to make sure everyone can make it. It could be as early as 12 months in advance.
You could opt for various methods of announcement of the date:
1. Use your sketched venue on the Save the Date card to showcase your forthcoming wedding day which will set the tone and style of your wedding to your guests.
2. Or keep the venue you have fallen in love with a secret until the “big reveal” when you send out your invitations and use a non-illustrated Save the Date card.
We can print in a wide range of colours (see our colour swatch to get you started) and there is a choice of five hand-selected cards in white, ivory and cream and in different finishes. We also have a choice of typestyles.
